Sister Jo’s Surf School

Sponsored Athletes

Cairo Zion

14-year-old Cairo Zion has a passion for any kind of board sports but mostly sticks to the water. He is sponsored my Maui Skimmers out of Hawaii for Skim boarding, recently winning Costa Rican Grom of the Year 2018 for that sport. Surfing though, is his true love. Oftentimes people recognize him for rolling up to the beach on his unicycle with his boards in tow. Cairo is an international dyslexia advocate. He is also a represented child actor. And now, a proud team member of Sister Jo’s surf school in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida.

Kara Baker

Indian Rocks Beach native, Kara Summer, took up surfing when she was just five-years-old. Thanks to her mom and dad she is charging line-ups and making a name for herself. Kara is an admirable young lady. We love her happy heart. Her spirit is contagious in the water. To support Kara you can follow her social media platforms. Her favorite being Instagram at @karasummerr.

Brett Bush

You name it, Brett excels at it. This guy is one of the original Bush kids of Indian Rocks Beach. Our parent’s, Melanie and Patrick Bush are to thank for this great upbringing. Brett surfs on the regular and charges. Last time Brett competed, he placed second in Men’s Longboard division at the 2019 Waterman’s Challenge contest. Keep a close eye on him! This one’s off to big things.
